The Science, Social Sciences & History Division is located on the third floor (3rd) of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building and offers a wide range of materials, programs, and services covering science, technology, industry, automotive, history, travel, health, cooking and home improvement. It is home to Health Central, a consumer health information service. LROC social services satellite is also located on this floor.

Health Central has partnered with the University of Rochester School of Medicine to be a location for students in the Community Health Improvement Course. All fourth year students must take the course and spend one month at various agencies in the community.
