The Science & History Division is located on third floor (3rd) of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building and offers a wide range of materials, programs, and services covering, science, technology, industry, automotive, history, travel, health, cooking and home improvement. It is home to Health Central, a consumer health information service and the Carlson Patent & Trademark Center, which offers patent and trademark searching assistance and 3D prototype printing for aspiring inventors. LROC social services satellite is also located on this floor.

Join us for a presentation by local author, Mary Ellen Ostrander, from the Seneca Park Zoo, who will discuss her book, Puff, the Sea Lion: A Love Story. She will focus on positive reinforcement training, the animal/human relationship and love. FREE and open to the public.
Health Central has partnered with the University of Rochester School of Medicine to be a location for students in the Community Health Improvement Course. All fourth year students must take the course and spend one month at various agencies in the community.
