Description: The photographs and maps in the Hamlin Town Historian’s office are part of a collection of documents and ephemera which trace the development of the town as an agricultural community. The collection includes photographs of Central Hamlin and the hamlets of Walker, Morton, Kendall Mills, Troutburg and North Hamlin as well as the Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, Hamlin Beach State Park and the “Hojack” (N.Y.C.R.R.) Railroad.

Physical Access to the Collection: The collection is housed in the Historian’s Office in the North Star History Center on the Northeast corner of Walker Lake Ontario Road and Church Road in eastern Hamlin.

Printing Images for Educational or Personal Use: The credit line “Town of Hamlin” must accompany any image printed from this collection. Images may be printed for personal, educational, or research use only.
