Game Collection

The Central Library Art’s, Music and Recreation division now has games, for ages 10 and up, that you can check out from the library. The collection includes a variety of games, such as, Chess, Scrabble, Pente and Mancala. If there is a particular game that you would like to see added to this collection geared for adults feel free to let us know HERE and we will happily consider adding it to the collection. Games circulate for 2 weeks at a time and you can place holds on your favorites. The games are kept behind Circulation in Rundel. Just like the Craft Kits and Ukulele’s, Patrons will bring one of the signs on the shelf to circulation in order to retrieve the game.

Interested in playing but not checking it out of the library?
The library also has a number of chess boards/ table top game spaces in both the Rundel Building and the Bausch & Lomb Public Library building that patrons are welcome to play at in the library. Feel free to bring a friend and challenge them to a rousing game of chess in the library.
