June 2nd: Patenting & Intellectual Property (IP) Considerations for Small Business Owners

Please join us for the free webinar “Patenting & Intellectual Property (IP) Considerations for Small Business Owners” on Wednesday, June 2nd at 10 am.

How do I protect my ideas (aka intellectual property)?  That’s a common question that many small business owners have.  Well, you have four primary tools available to do just that.  Dave will provide an overview of the various ways intellectual property can be protected and he will discuss what steps business owners can take to preserve their intellectual property and the timing of these actions.

The participants will learn these Key Learnings:

  • Key Learning #1: What tools are available to protect your intellectual property
  • Key Learning #2: Basics on how to apply for these protections
  • Key Learning #3: Some good practices for additional measures you can take to protect your intellectual property

Dave Bassett, President of Bassett IP Strategies, has been a Patent Agent registered to practice before the U S Patent and Trademark Office since 2004 and has experience in optics, acoustics, mechanical, business method, computer, chemical, and biomechanical utility patenting and design patenting.
