Libraries are community anchors, the center of civic life and the social backbone of a neighborhood. More than just another building, libraries provide access and opportunity to all. RPL’s branch libraries reach over 950,000 residents annually and hold more than 6,000 programs. The RPL Branch Facilities & Operations Plan identifies strategies to optimize the physical and operational infrastructure of its ten library branches through enhanced library spaces, expanded access and innovative service design and delivery.
