Local History & Genealogy Division

Located on the second floor of the Rundel Memorial Library Building, the Local History & Genealogy Division holds the largest collection of primary and secondary source materials about the history of Rochester and the Genesee Valley in the region. Appointments are not required but are recommended for researchers wishing to use our special collections and those needing assistance with in-depth inquiries. Please complete and submit this form so that our expert staff can better serve you during your visit. After reviewing your request, we will contact you to schedule your appointment.
