Making an Impact in the Rochester Community

During the month of April, three inventors, who have used the Carlson Patent & Trademark Center resources in the past, came in to be trained by Mike Dermondy, Account Executive at IP.com. Mike spent three hours discussing the powerful marketing analysis capabilities of “Innovation Q,” one of the many databases the library subscribes to. Between the use of this database, a landscape marketing study for technologies, a patentability search and a consultation, these entrepreneurs saved about $14,000 by using of the resources at the Carlson Patent & Trademark Center. Needless to say the gentlemen were very grateful that this level of assistance was available for free at the Central Library.
